Tanya Hogue is a Navajo artist from Shiprock, New Mexico, whose acrylic-on-sand paintings are collected worldwide.Her subject matter involves traditional pottery, especially the Anazasi pottery found near her home. She is strongly influenced by her father, the internationally renowned Bobby Johnson and by the traditions of her clan. Winner of the Heard Museum's Native American Arts and Crafts Award - Division Winner and Heard Museums's Native American Arts and Crafts Special Award. She currently exhibits in Albuquerque.
